I just scheduled Aaron’s oral surgery to have his wisdom teeth removed but the surgery won’t be until April. I was hoping to get this done sooner rather than later but with Aaron’s Florida trip and his birthday. Plus, Aaron goes to his dad’s house every other weekend so there isn’t really any other option. I just couldn’t schedule his surgery the day before his 17th birthday. That would be absolutely terrible and make me the worst mother in the world. So April it is…poor kid. I know he’s a little nervous about the surgery and I would be too but it’s really necessary for Aaron to have his teeth removed. Did I mention they’re impacted? Aaron has never even had a cavity so he really has no idea what to expect. I’ll make sure he’s well taken care of though. Lots of ice cream maybe the way to go!
We were watching the Mountaineer basketball game last night and Jacob was so adorable. I was bouncing back and forth between the kitchen and living room because I was busy getting our lunches made and doing dishes. So I missed an important play by one of the Pitt players. Jacob told me the player missed the hoop completely. I said, “Air ball”. Jacob insisted on giving me a live replay of the missed shot. He has one of those small hoops on his bedroom door and Jacob was too eager to give me a replay of the shot…3 replays actually. I wish I had recorded his play by play action. It was so cute to have a live replay by a 7 year old. He made me smileJJacob didn’t make it to half-time watching the game but at least he had an interest.
