Resolution Resolve 2010

Resolution Resolve 2010 will feature a head to head competition between two MAGIC listeners: Randy "Good Time Bacon" Cottle and Sylvia "I Will Not Humiliate Myself" Hawkins. 

We're trying a different approach this year.  Instead of securing a gym membership for a contestant who will work out for three months, give up, and then criticize our sponsors on the air, these two will be on their own.  They have each joined a gym and they each have their own motivation for bringing their weight loss struggles to the radio. 

Randy is a dedicated masochist who believes being held publicly accountable will give him the added boost he needs to reach his goal.  Sylvia is looking for free publicity for her non-profit organization, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of North Central West Virginia.  The winner will also receive a check for .50 cents for each pound lost compliments of Casey Bowie (Check not to exceed $25 dollars.  Some restrictions apply.  Limit one check per winner.  See Casey Bowie for complete details.)

Of course, Jack is just looking to poke his nose into their personal lives and make fun of them on the radio.

Randy is 6'0" and approximately 248 lbs.  His goal is to lose 40 to 50 lbs by the end of 2010.  Sylvia is 5'4" and weighs "just under 220."  Her goal is also to drop around 40 to 50 lbs. 

As part of the deal, Randy and Sylvia have agreed to submit before and after photos.
